Nearly 30 years ago Charlie's opened on the corner of 18th and Granby in the Ghent section of Norfolk and quickly became a local favorite for its home cooking and homey charm. Charlie's has since become an icon of independent local dining and funky fun experiences. As Charlie's gained notoriety for it's "killer omelets" it is often the last stop for our departing service personnel before deployment or the first stop when they arrive back home. Being listed in the Foodie Almanac, Roodfood, as one of the top diner’s in America and a visit from Tom Hanks helped put Charlie’s Cafe in the social media world as one of Norfolk’s unique places to visit.
